Mirela Moscu lives and works in Cluj-­Napoca, Romania.
Born in Sibiu, Romania she graduated with an MA from the University of Art and Design, Cluj-­Napoca, Fine Art Department and was awarded the Gilchrist Fisher Award in 2014.
